THE PROGRAM for Female Offenders

A long-time client, this United Way social service agency was preparing for a capital campaign to build new administrative and job training facilities. An ad agency had been hired to create a brochure which was not to the liking of the then, executive director. She called and asked if I could put together a brochure, that needed to be at the printer in two weeks to meet their deadline. Within two weeks, I traveled to Pittsburgh, coordinated a photo shoot to showcase THE PROGRAM's work, wrote the copy, worked with a graphics designer on layout, and had the brochure at the printer in time for the Capital Campaign launch. In addition, we enlisted the services of MARC Advertising, Pittsburgh's largest ad agency to take on a pro-bono project to create the invitation for a sports memorabilia auction, which we staged for THE PROGRAM as part of its new facility grand opening. The auction was very successful in raising funds and awareness and created excellent public and community relations for the agency.
