After Softouch was taken public, the original owners were dissatisfied with the new direction of the women's active apparel company, and left to launch their own new line. I joined them again, as marketing director and helped take the Susan Fixel line to the former prominence of the well-recognized Softouch line. Building on her solid fashion reputation, we created a new signature Susan Fixel line, for which I worked within small start-up budgets, to generate new marketing materials, catalogs and publicity. Susan Fixel again rose to the top of the ranks of the highly competitive women's apparel field, received tremendous media coverage, and was featured by Fitness magazine as one of the top four national designers of active apparel
